Baby Quilt

This a baby quilt that I am currently working on.  The top is done except for the cat that I'm going to be appliqueing in the center of the quilt.  It will be out of the same material as the border.  The camera doesn't show the true color of the border.  It is light yellow with polka dots that match the rest of the quilt.  This quilt is approximately 35" x 35".  I have 2 more of these to make plus one for my son and his wife.  =)

Just a few quilts from the quilt show...

I took this picture for inspiration on making my cousins quilt.  I have a few pieces cut and sewn.  Forgot where I put the material for her quilt.  That's bad.  I saw it the other day and forget where I saw it.  LOL!!!  I was going to blame it on getting older, but right now I have so many things going on.  Plus, my work schedule is so crazy.  I don't know if I'm coming or going.  grrrr!!!  One of these days things will settle down.  Ha!
What eye candy this quilt was in person!

Loved this one...saw hummingbird checking out my purple irises the other day.  Made some sugar water for the birds and got the feeder hung today.  Can't wait to see the hummers come.

Another pretty Oriental quilt.

I thought this one was cute.  Notice the headline on the quilt.  LOL!!!

How funny!

I just love seeing all the pretty birds.  On a closer view this one looked like the birds were done in needlepoint.

A quilt inspector.  :~)

A lovely batik quilt with enchinacea flowers.

Pretty flowers

Another cat quilt.

Here kitty, kitty...

There were so many beautiful quilts at the show.  I forgot to bring my camera, so, I ended up taking some pictures with my phone.  I loved the Oriental quilt because it had some added embellishments on it.  The person who made added beads to make it pop.

Baby Afghan

A pretty baby afghan for a cute little girl.

The varigated yarn for babies used to be pink, blue, and white when my kids were little.  Now it has green and yellow added to it.

I love the pretty scalloped edge that you put around the blanket for the border.  It adds something to it.
